From 15 May to 2 November 2008 Museum In Docklands has the city’s first major exhibition on Jack The Ripper, taking in police files on the baffling case of 1888-89, photos, letters from the public, and from the supposed Ripper himself, plus the re-created sights, sounds and smells of the labyrinthine late-Victorian Whitechapel, along with displays of Booth poverty maps and media coverage of the time. Tickets are on sale from Museum In Docklands in late February 2008.
